How We Calculate This
Formula
- Line width = Nozzle diameter x 1.05 (typical 5% over-extrusion)
- Wall thickness = Line width x Number of perimeters
Most slicers default to a line width slightly larger than the nozzle to ensure good bonding between adjacent lines.
